Centre for 21st Century Issues (C21st) as a member of Demand climate justice and a member of Pan African climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) joined the global world to demand climate justice during the global week of action to demand climate justice from 12th -18th November 2012. C21st with the Policy Advocacy partnership on Climate Change in Lagos state (PAPPCC) met with Lagos state Lawmakers on 12th of November, 2012. ;
MEETING WITH POLICY MAKERS IN LAGOS STATE: C21st met with the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Environment to sensitize them on climate change and climate justice and as well as enhance their ability to perform their functions in making people centred laws and policies that support adaptation initiatives for the most vulnerable in Lagos state. The lawmakers are also enjoined to support t the demand for climate justice in all their international activities on climate change and ensured that those who did not cause climate change are not allowed to suffer disproportionately from it.
